Pink Dog Bed: How to Choose the Perfect Bed for your Princess Pooch

A princess pooch is not a princess unless you give her a pink dog bed.  She needs to have her good night’s sleep in a cozy bed that will make her feel secured.  Think of it as buying a bed for your own use.  When you bought your bed, did you buy just any other bed in the store?  Isn’t it that you took time to see if the bed is comfortable?  Isn’t it that you tried it more than once to see if the softness of the bed is just right? 

Well, if you’re buying your princess pooch a bed, you need to put yourself in the shoes of your pooch to help you decide the perfect bed for her.   There are many sizes, shapes and designs that you can choose from.  How can you choose the perfect one for your pooch?  You know your little girl more than any other person in this world.  You know her behavior and you know if she likes a soft bed or a pretty hard bed.  Your first consideration is comfort.  Ask yourself, “Will my little girl feel comfortable in this bed?” 

You also need to find a dog bed that will have the right size for your princess.  If your princess is still young or has a small size, she will feel most comfortable with a smaller dog bed. However if you have a princess Labrador or a princess golden retriever, then you need to find her a bigger bed where there’s plenty of room to stretch and rest like a real monarchy.  Size definitely matters in this case because dogs want to snuggle up and buying them very big beds for their sizes will not make it comfortable for them.

How about the shape?  Will you go for a round one, square one or a shape that will really stand out from among all the other furniture in the house?  Think about your beautiful pooch and ask yourself if she’s a round kind of pooch, a square one, one that is shaped like a giant slipper or one that is shaped like a house?  For small girls, a round dog bed will be perfect.  They will feel cozy and secured since they are enclosed in all directions. For bigger dogs, a square one will be perfect because they need all the space so that they will have a comfortable sleep. 

There is no doubt that pink is the best color to choose when you’re buying a bed for your princess pooch.  It is probably the first thing that you have thought of when you decided to buy her a bed: the pink color.  For many dog lovers, pink gives their little pooches the added flair.   Without the accessories and the pink dog bed, we really cannot distinguish between a princess dog and a boy dog.  But with beautiful touch of pink as their dog bed, no one will doubt that you dog is truly a princess.  Choose a pink dog bed that not only your dog will love but you will also love!
